The game Hamster Kombat on the Telegram platform has unveiled its development roadmap for the remainder of 2024 and 2025, including the launch of a Web3 gaming platform to expand its game portfolio.
In the last quarter of 2024, Hamster Kombat will integrate external payment systems, introduce new games within the Hamster ecosystem, and incorporate NFTs as in-game assets.
The Hamster Kombat team is confident that they are in a “unique position” to develop a Web3 gaming platform, thanks to their collaboration with players, industry developers, and their technology and experience, which make the development process smoother.
Since its launch, Hamster Kombat has quickly attracted millions of players, reaching 239 million users within the first 81 days, and now boasts over 300 million users worldwide.
On September 23, Hamster Kombat announced an airdrop event, with 131 million users (43% of the total) eligible to participate. Additionally, the development team banned 2.3 million player accounts due to fraudulent behavior.
To address the challenge of retaining players after the airdrop event, Hamster Kombat has implemented a strategy to preserve token value, where 11.25% of the tokens will be vested and unlocked 10 months after the token’s listing. The team expects the token value to increase alongside the project’s growth.
In December 2024, Hamster Kombat will launch a dedicated advertising network, with the revenue from this network being used to buy back and burn tokens, as well as distribute rewards to players. The buyback is intended to stabilize the token price, while burning tokens creates scarcity, potentially increasing their value.
In 2025, Hamster Kombat plans to develop an NFT marketplace, host competitive clan championships, and carry out the second phase of the airdrop event.
